Rarely does the expression 'from the ground up' have more relevance than when applied to the work carried out on Nicky and David Pinner's en suite.
Not only was the room and all its fittings stripped back to its barest bones, the electrics re-wired and walls re-plastered but, in this case, even floor was removed and then reinstalled. Bearing in mind there was a strict, start-to-finish deadline to meet, it's the kind of job only the brave of heart and seriously competent could hope to achieve.
But, having used the Ipswich-based company before, it was a job that the Pinners knew they could depend on Anglia Kitchens to complete. "They fitted our kitchen last year and we've always been happy with their work.
When it came to the bathroom, I told them I liked the New England style and, as we're sailing family, I'd like clean lines. I also wanted as much cupboard space as possible as I can't bear clutter but I didn't want any glass doors on them as you can always see the mess inside," Nicky explains...
